About the Opportunity

As a Marketing Lead, you will help support the Company’s go-to-market efforts, manage and deploy a marketing budget consistent with strategic guidance from leadership, develop and maintain our Company’s brand identity, and assist people operations in the creation and syndication of internal/external Company communications.

In this role, you will help increase web traffic and brand awareness through the marketing of content online. You will be responsible for creating "shareable" content, distributing content on the appropriate platforms and measuring the results of marketing activity. You will help build inbound marketing strategies, develop an online presence and track success metrics. This would include optimizing search engine optimization (SEO), planning for campaign needs, and using data and analytics to measure performance.

You will be responsible for building and managing a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including blog posts, whitepapers, eBooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.). Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers). Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels. Establish closed-loop analytics with sales to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers.

You should have a love for storytelling, words, and digital strategies.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design content marketing strategies and set short-term goals.
  • Undertake content marketing initiatives to achieve business targets
  • Produce high-quality content by collaborating with subject matter experts.
  • Create an editorial calendar and ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Regularly deliver engaging content.
  • Edit, proofread, and improve the content.
  • Optimize content considering SEO and analytics tools. 
  • Analyze web traffic metrics.
  • Ensure a strong web presence on various channels.
  • Generate ideas to increase customer engagement. 

Preferred Skills and Background

  • Degree in marketing, public relations, digital communication, journalism, advertising, or a relevant field.
  • 5 years of experience in the related role and area of responsibility.
  • Experience in and with HubSpot, our content management system.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a creative environment.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Expertise in social media platforms.
  • Project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communicator (both written and verbal) and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation and blogging software in order to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and then nurture them (using dynamic workflows) into converted customers.
  • Bonus skills: HTML/CSS, Adobe Creative Suite.
